Photo of Saint Boniface Church

This is one of the churches closing in the Archiocese of Saint Louis' southside deanery. Saint Boniface Church is in the historic Carondolet neighborhood of the City of Saint Louis which has French colonial roots. The church itself was built in 1860, and is in a remarkable neighborhood that once had a great community and old-world charm. Carondolet mainly escaped the period of 'urban renewal' that devasted the central corridor of the City and so has much remaining intriguing architecture.
